CoC-Documents
Manufacturers of type-approved vehicles are obliged under Regulation (EC) 2018/858, Article 36 to issue a paper CoC document to accompany each vehicle in physical form (folding paper) for each individual vehicle manufactured.
According to Regulation (EC) 2018/858, Article 37, manufacturers of type-approved vehicles are obliged to issue CoCs as structured data in electronic format for each individual vehicle produced and to transmit it to the authority the approval granted.
By means of the CoC document, the manufacturer certifies that a given vehicle complies with the relevant technical requirements, the relevant administrative.
